GAMEPLAY


With my philosophy in letting the narrative and visuals take the lead, I decided to keep the gameplay simple. The gameplay revolves around simple 2D platforming mechanics: movement and jumping being the two core tenets of this. The game also has two forms of combat, the use of arrows and the use of seataka (or energy blasts for simplicity’s sake). These two means of combat are limited and can have different purposes in exploration, thus encouraging creativity and resource management.
